League Vs. UCL 2's

TOP GUNS: Jason Ford, Nick Doria, Greg D'arci

King's were happy to walk away with the victory at Shenley, but were far from happy with their overall performance. King's started brightly and Nick Doria crossed early after some fine industrious work by his countryman Gregorio. This was followed by a penalty from Jason as the Lions went into an early 10-0 lead. From here however, King's struggled to adapt to the referee's interpretation at the breakdown (the ref was a one-eyed ****) and the penalty count was astronomical - and it meant that stringing 2 phases together was nearly impossible. King's had to wait until midway through the second half for their next score, as Myles crashed over in the corner from short range. From here, Jake was binned for hands in the ruck, whilst Dane was also binned for a Dominici like trip. King's were then able to score their third try, spurred on by their 'right naughty little firm' as Griff bundled over shouting 'Dags!!' or something like that. All in all, it was good to taste victory over the godless scum, but King's know their performance will need to improve as they look forward to the cup next week, and ultimately Varsity at the end of the season.

A special mention for those in the Waterfront afterwards...it was f***ing brutal!!
