King's Rugby is a wholly amateur student rugby club aiming to offer a rugby environment as ‘professional’ as it can be. The club run two teams and have a strong midweek fixture list in the British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) leagues and in the Gutteridge Cup (ULU Cup).

Teams are selected on merit and all teams receive coaching, strength and conditioning guidance from our club coach, John Graves. The club has a great tradition of touring and went on tour to Budapest this year. The ultimate aim of every rugby player, at King's College London, should be to play in 'The London Varsity’. Annually this event attracts large numbers of supporters to Richmond Athletic Ground, all cheering on the King's players, honoured enough to play against ‘the Godless Scum' (UCL) for the Jeremy George Shield.

I look forward to meeting you all at the forthcoming Freshers Fair and expect you all to be fit, for another successful season!
